Neil Dowling

Nice to meet you.

I'm a nomadic freelance film maker from Ireland currently based in Canada with stints in South Korea and Norway in between. I've been working for myself for about fifteen years doing video work, writing and graphic design. 

Along with Nils Clauss I'm part of Contented - www.thisiscontented.com. Our collaboration started when Nils shot and helped produce Finding Joy my debut feature film. The film showed at a number of international film festivals and won the award for Best Narrative Feature at the 2013 Liverpool Lift-off International Film Festival.

Since then, as a creative team, we have been nominated for a UK Music Video Award and been included in the Saatchi and Saatchi New Directors showcase. Contented is represented by Co.MissionContent in the US.

For solo projects I work mostly on commercials and corporate films. I have experience in scriptwriting, directing, photography and motion graphics and visual effects. 

I have also worked in branding, copywriting and have contributed to a number of publications as a reviewer and features writer.
